Zaska String Quartet
Who We Are
The Zaska Quartet is a Birmingham-based string quartet formed in 2024 by students and graduates of the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire: Zinnia Smart (violin), Kalu Ramirez (violin), Sian Cobb (viola), and Aidan Hopkins (cello). The ensemble performs a diverse repertoire spanning classical and Baroque works, film music, pop arrangements, and traditional folk melodies.

We are available to play at weddings (and other events). We are based in Birmingham but are happy to travel for your wedding.

Concerts
We have delivered concerts across multiple different venues throughout Birmingham and the West Midlands. Within our concerts we sometimes incorporate historically informed performance, playing on Baroque instruments instead of the modern versions you will be used to seeing.
